According to the Brea Police Department, the fatal collision occurred at around 5:30 a.m. in the area of Imperial Highway and South Puente Street. 

Authorities stated that two vehicles were involved in the crash. One person was declared dead at the scene, while the condition of the other remains unavailable. At this time, the identity of the deceased is undisclosed. 

It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision. Further information has yet to be released by the responding officers.
