According to the Chico Police Department, the pedestrian vs. vehicle incident occurred on East Lassen Avenue near Northgate Drive and in front of C&M Automotive.

The police indicated that the female victim was walking across the street when she was suddenly struck by a car going east. She was rushed to a nearby hospital to recover. The victim’s name, age, origin, and extent of injury were not disclosed.
