[05-27-2024] Two People Killed Following Fiery Single-Vehicle Collision in Wilmington Two people were killed following a fiery single-vehicle collision in Wilmington, Los Angeles, on early Monday morning, May 27, 2024. 

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash happened around 2:13 a.m. at 1300 N. Alameda St.

Authorities stated that a vehicle was burning at the scene. As the firefighters put out the flames, they saw two people dead inside the vehicle. Details on the identity of the deceased were not immediately available. Age and gender were not able to be identified. 

It is unknown whether drugs, alcohol, or speeding contributed to the crash. The cause of the incident remains unclear.
