At least one person was injured following a single-vehicle collision in Fresno on Wednesday afternoon, May 15, 2024.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. behind Pardini’s Catering, near Shaw and Van Ness.
Authorities stated that a driver accidentally pushed the gas instead of the break of his SUV. As a result, the vehicle slammed into a building and caused significant damage to the storage area.
At least one employee suffered minor injuries but refused to go to the hospital. It is unknown if there is anyone else injured due to the crash. The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
The crash remains under investigation. No further details were provided by the police.
