At least one person was killed following a multi-vehicle crash in Desert Hot Springs on early Thursday morning, May 16, 2024.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the collision happened around 2:27 a.m. along westbound Highway 62 and North Indian Canyon Drive.
Authorities stated that several vehicles were involved in the collision. Upon their arrival, they found one car ended up in a roadside ditch and another one stopped in the intersection.
Police said that one driver was reportedly injured and pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear if there is anyone else injured in the crash. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
The authorities have yet to release further information regarding the incident. As of now, no further details have been provided.
