[05-11-2024] One Person Killed, Four Others Injured Following Two-Vehicle Collision Involving Truck in Santa Clarita One person was killed, and four others were injured following a two-vehicle collision involving a truck in Santa Clarita on Saturday evening, May 11, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 11:25 p.m. at Sand Canyon Road and Sierra Highway. 

Authorities stated that the collision involved two vehicles, including a black truck and a white SUV. Prior to the crash, the black truck had been speeding, resulting in one fatality and multiple people injured. 

Paramedics pronounced one person dead at the scene and transported four victims to the hospital. The extent of their injuries remains unknown. 

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. No further details were provided.
