Two people were injured following a suspected DUI vehicle collision in Twentynine Palms on Wednesday morning, April 24, 2024.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the collision happened around 5:00 a.m. near Sullivan Road and Hatch Road.
Authorities stated that the driver of the vehicle was driving eastbound on Sullivan when he lost control of the vehicle and rolled into a dirt lot.
Police said that the driver and his female passenger sustained injuries and were transported to High Desert Medical Center for immediate treatment. During the investigation, the driver told the responding officials that he had used methamphetamine and marijuana before the incident. As of now, it is unclear whether an arrest was made.
