[04-09-2024] Marin County, CA – 25-Year-Old Driver Injured After Being Struck by DUI Driver in Novato

A 25-year-old driver was injured after being struck by a DUI driver in Novato on Tuesday evening, April 9, 2024.

According to the Novato Police Department, the incident occurred at about 8:00 p.m. between Rowland Boulevard and Redwood Boulevard.

A 49-year-old woman named Susan S. reportedly ran a red light and slammed into a Honda sedan.

The 25-year-old Novato resident suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital. He is expected to survive.

Police arrested Susan S. for felony driving under the influence, causing injury. She was booked into Marin County Jail.
