According to the San Francisco Police Department, the incident occurred at about 9:43 a.m. between Steiner Street and Fulton Street.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The driver involved reportedly left the scene right away.

The police gave no description of the car or the suspect. Investigations into the collision are underway.
