[09-27-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – Minor Seriously Injured Following Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Crash in Highland

A juvenile female was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Highland on Wednesday night, September 27, 2023.

According to Cal Fire’s San Bernardino Unit, the incident occurred at 9:45 p.m. on 9th Street and Victoria Avenue.

A blue Toyota sedan struck the victim after she got dropped off in front of her home. AMR was immediately dispatched to transport the severely injured victim to a nearby hospital.

The victim was reportedly awake and responsive in the ambulance, but no further details were given on her current condition.

There was major damage to the sedan’s windshield, as well as minor damage to the bumper and hood. Its driver appeared to be sober and cooperated with authorities.
