[09-22-2023] Kern County, CA – DUI Male Driver with Female Passenger Crashes into Parked Vehicle in Oildale

A DUI male driver with a female passenger crashed into a parked car in Oildale, Kern County, on Friday morning, September 22, 2023.

According to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page, at around 7:04 a.m., officers responded to the crash involving a gray vehicle colliding with a parked white Toyota Camry on 100 Regal Street.

Authorities stated that the female occupant of the gray vehicle, who appeared impaired, fled the scene on foot. The woman was last seen walking east on Beardsley Street.

Officials said the DUI driver was at the crash scene when emergency personnel arrived. The extent of injuries sustained by those involved was not disclosed.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this collision, and anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the CHP.
