A minor driver died, and two passengers were hospitalized following a reckless two-vehicle crash in Antelope on Wednesday night, September 20, 2023.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Antelope Road and Antelope North Road.
The collision involved a Chevy sedan with three minor occupants and a Chevy pickup truck. The truck driver was uninjured, but the sedan driver died at the scene, while two injured passengers were taken to a nearby hospital.
Authorities stated the sedan collided with the pickup truck while heading westbound on Antelope Road at high speed. The sedan lost control and crashed into a post.
The investigation into the crash are underway. There was no statement about the involvement of drugs or alcohol.
