[09-19-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – 3 People Injured Following Two-Vehicle Collision in Apple Valley

Three people were injured after a two-vehicle collision in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Tuesday morning, September 19, 2023.

Apple Valley Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a traffic collision involving a red Ford Mustang and a white Honda Civic on Deep Creek Road near Del Oro Road at around 6:44 a.m.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the Civic off the roadway. Its occupants were trapped and subsequently rescued.

Two victims suffered severe injuries, while the third sustained minor injuries. Two helicopters were requested to transport the critically injured to out-of-area hospitals.

An investigation is being conducted by the Apple Valley Police Department to determine what caused the crash and what events led up to it.
