[09-03-2023] San Francisco County, CA – Two Injured After One Sedan Collides with CHP Motorcycle in Intersection

A driver and a California Highway Patrol officer were injured after colliding with each other in San Francisco on Sunday afternoon, September 3, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the collision around 3:09 p.m. between the intersections of Harrison and Third Streets.

Upon initial investigation, it was still unclear whether there was a traffic violation committed by either of the two, but both the driver of the Cadillac Sedan and the California Highway Patrol sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Both were immediately transferred to the San Francisco General Hospital for treatment. Authorities did not release the identities of those involved in the accident.

The potential factors that caused the collision are still unknown, and the investigation into the incident continues.
