A 37-year-old man was killed after a two-vehicle DUI collision in Moreno Valley on Monday evening, December 29, 2025.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred shortly after 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Frederick Street and Alessandro Boulevard.
Firefighters arrived within minutes and found both drivers trapped in their vehicles with major injuries. The victim, identified as Yoseph A. of Moreno Valley, was extricated and transported to Riverside University Medical Center, where he died less than an hour later.
Sheriff’s officials said the driver of the other vehicle, identified as Misty B., 42, of Perris, was also extricated and taken to the hospital.
Following a review of evidence, detectives obtained an arrest warrant, and Misty was taken into custody on Wednesday on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while under the influence. Authorities said she remained hospitalized in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
