A woman was killed, and four others sustained injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Lemoore on Tuesday evening, December 24, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Hanford Armona Road near 16th Avenue.
A 2012 Nissan Altima, driven by the woman, was backing out of a private driveway into the east and westbound lanes of Hanford Armona Road. The vehicle collided with a 2017 GMC Acadia traveling eastbound.
The woman was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the GMC, along with three other occupants, was also hospitalized and is receiving treatment for their injuries.
CHP stated that alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash. The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
