Four people were killed, and a 4-year-old child was critically injured in a solo vehicle crash on the eastbound 10 Freeway near Colton on Sunday afternoon, December 15, 2024.
According to California Highway Patrol Sgt. John Sauceda, the crash occurred around 4:45 p.m., just east of Riverside Avenue.
For reasons still under investigation, the driver of a Toyota Camry veered off the freeway, struck a tree stump, and caused the vehicle to catch fire.

The identities of the victims and the child’s current condition have not yet been released.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.

What A Lawyer Can Do For You
Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
