[12-12-2024] Woman Killed After Two-Vehicle DUI Crash on Fair Oaks Boulevard in Arden-ArcadeA woman in her 60s was killed in a collision involving a suspected DUI driver in Arden-Arcade, Sacramento County, early Thursday morning, December 12, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Fair Oaks Boulevard at Mission Avenue.

A Dodge Ram, driven by a man in his 20s, was traveling westbound on Fair Oaks Boulevard when it collided with a Chevrolet Camaro driven by the woman, who was heading south on Mission Avenue.

The driver of the Camaro succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The Dodge driver was uninjured and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The investigation is ongoing.
