A traffic collision involving two vehicles blocked southbound lanes on South Mission Road in San Diego County during the Thursday morning commute on December 11, 2025.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the crash was reported at 8:19 a.m. at 1385 S. Mission Road, where multiple southbound lanes were initially blocked.
CHP records indicated that a white Toyota Prius and a black Chevrolet were involved, and it was later confirmed that no additional vehicles were part of the collision. Two ambulances were requested, though the extent of any injuries was not known.
A tow truck was requested at approximately 8:22 a.m., and officers arrived at the scene by 8:29 a.m. Crews worked to remove the vehicles and reopen the roadway.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
