A bicyclist sustained life-threatening injuries in a collision with a car in Thousand Oaks on Wednesday evening, December 11, 2024.
According to Ventura County Sheriff’s Capt. Nick Odenath, the incident occurred around 7:08 p.m. near West Hillcrest Drive and Citation Way.
The bicyclist, a 37-year-old man, was transported by ambulance to Los Robles Regional Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition as of Thursday morning.
The driver involved in the collision stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Traffic investigators are conducting a full investigation into the cause of the collision. No additional details are currently available.
