[12-09-2025] Students Injured After School Bus Rear-Ends Truck on Bullard Avenue Near Van Ness BoulevardA school bus carrying approximately 60 students rear-ended a delivery truck on Bullard Avenue near the Van Ness Boulevard intersection in Fresno on Tuesday afternoon, December 9, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:50 p.m. as both vehicles were traveling westbound. 

CHP said the delivery truck driver braked when the traffic light changed, and the school bus struck the rear of the truck. 

At least 15 students sustained minor injuries, and six were transported to a local hospital. Neither driver reported injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
