A motorcyclist was fatally injured in a collision involving a pickup truck and a sedan in Menifee early Monday morning, December 9, 2024.
According to the Menifee Police Department, the crash occurred shortly after 4:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 74 and Menifee Road.
Agency spokesman Chase Coburn reported that the motorcyclist struck the sedan and pickup truck “in two separate collisions” that occurred in rapid succession.
Riverside County Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene within minutes and pronounced the rider deceased at the scene. The motorcyclist’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The drivers of the sedan and pickup truck were not injured. Both remained at the scene, cooperated with authorities, and were not arrested.
Authorities confirmed that impairment was not a factor in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
