[12-07-2025] 64-Year-Old Man Injured in Hit-and-Run Near Julie Lane and Gardner StreetA 64-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run in South Lake Tahoe on Sunday evening, December 7, 2025.

According to the South Lake Tahoe Police Department, the incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. near Julie Lane and Gardner Street.

The victim was transported to Barton Hospital. Police said the driver was known to the victim, and a statewide be-on-the-lookout advisory was issued. As of Sunday night, the driver had not been located.

On Monday, authorities reported that 35-year-old Brittanie L. had been arrested at a residence on Spruce Avenue. Police said the victim had been attempting to remove his belongings from Brittanie’s vehicle after a disagreement when the driver pulled away, striking him with the car door. He has since been released from the hospital. Lane was booked on charges including felony hit-and-run and contempt of court, with bail set at 52,000 dollars.
