According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported around 4:32 p.m. Emergency crews responded, and at least two people were believed to have been transported from the scene. 

Specific details about the victims or the extent of their injuries were not immediately available. Reche Road was closed for at least two hours during the response, and one nearby resident reported being unable to access their home until after 8 p.m.

The crash occurred in an area east of Fallbrook that connects several residential neighborhoods to Reche Road.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
