Two people were hospitalized after a solo crash involving a Jeep SUV in Commerce early Saturday morning, November 30, 2024.
Emergency responders, including the California Highway Patrol, LA County Fire, and Caltrans, arrived at the scene on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway near the Interstate 710 interchange.
The collision caused significant damage, knocking down a light pole, damaging a retaining wall, and destroying a road sign.
Two people were transported to local hospitals in unknown condition. Navarro’s Towing was called to remove the Jeep SUV, which required an evidence tow. Authorities suspect the vehicle was traveling at a high speed prior to the crash.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
