A man was killed after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in the 3500 block of India Street in the Hillcrest area of San Diego on Saturday night, November 29, 2025.
According to the San Diego Police Department, officers and paramedics responded shortly before midnight and found a pedestrian believed to be about 60 years old who had been hit while crossing the street mid-block.
Police said the driver of a silver or gray sedan was traveling northbound on India Street and approaching a green light at Vine Street when the pedestrian entered the vehicle’s path. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver fled the scene, and police are searching for the vehicle and motorist involved.
