According to the Redding Police Department, the crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Churn Creek Road near Downard Lane.

The injured bicyclist was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, but the extent of their injuries remains unknown.

The RPD responded to the scene and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. 

Northbound traffic on Churn Creek Road was temporarily affected as authorities conducted their investigation.
