A 59-year-old Fillmore woman was killed, and another driver sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision on westbound Highway 126 near Peck Road in Santa Paula late Tuesday morning, November 26, 2024.
The crash occurred around 11:15 a.m. when the driver of a blue 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup truck was merging onto the westbound highway from the Peck Avenue on-ramp during rainy weather.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Ryan Ayala, the pickup spun out across the westbound lanes and into the path of a black 2014 Mercedes-Benz ML 350 SUV driven by a 40-year-old Santa Paula woman.
