[11-24-2024] Two Injured After DUI Rollover Crash on Tanglewood Drive in ReddingTwo people were injured in a DUI-related rollover crash in Redding on Sunday evening, November 24, 2024.

The crash occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Tanglewood Drive near Canby Road, according to the Redding Police Department. 

A preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle, driven by 42-year-old Brandon J. of Redding, was traveling on Whet Owl Drive before making a right turn onto Tanglewood Drive at a high rate of speed, causing it to roll over.

Both Jackson and his wife, who was a passenger in the vehicle, sustained moderate injuries in the collision. Medical personnel provided treatment at the scene, and both individuals were transported to a hospital.

Authorities determined Jackson was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was later arrested and booked into Shasta County Jail on DUI charges.

The incident remains under investigation.
