One man was killed and another was injured in a collision in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, early Wednesday morning, November 19, 2025.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at approximately 12:37 a.m. to Kester Avenue and Saticoy Street, where witnesses reported that the driver of a Toyota Prius traveling north on Kester collided with the driver of a Scion heading east on Saticoy, according to an LAPD spokesman.
The driver of the Prius was pronounced dead at the scene. The man driving the Scion was freed from the wreckage by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel and taken to a hospital in stable condition.
It is reported that the driver of the Scion had been involved in an earlier collision at Riverside Drive and Woodman Avenue in Sherman Oaks.
Police said the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
