A driver making a U-turn was killed when his vehicle was struck by another car in Long Beach early Tuesday morning, November 11, 2025.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. near 10th Street and Orange Avenue. Police stated that a black 2023 Nissan Rogue traveling eastbound on 10th Street hit a black 2000 Honda Accord that was trying to make a U-turn from the south curb.
Officers found the driver of the Accord unconscious in the driver’s seat. He was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Rogue cooperated with the investigation, and police said neither distracted driving nor intoxication was considered a factor in the crash.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
