Officers responded to the area of Del Paso Boulevard and Marysville Boulevard just before 6:30 p.m., where they found a pedestrian down in the roadway, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Police said the pedestrian was struck by two vehicles. The first vehicle fled the scene before officers arrived, while the second vehicle remained on scene. 

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Sacramento Police Department.
