[11-01-2024] Two Teens Injured in Street Takeover Crash in AnaheimTwo teens sustained major injuries after a Dodge Charger crashed into spectators during an illegal street takeover in Anaheim early Friday morning, November 1, 2024.

The incident occurred at the intersection of E Orangewood Avenue and S State College Boulevard. 

The Charger lost control and rolled over a group of people. Emergency responders reported finding the injured teens, aged 19, from Lancaster and Orange, lying in the street. Both were transported to UCI Medical Center in stable condition.

The driver fled the scene on foot and could face felony hit-and-run charges. Police noted that hundreds of people and multiple cars participated in the event, which also involved stunts and fireworks.

Authorities are urging anyone with information or additional footage to contact the Anaheim Police Department as the investigation continues.
