[10-30-2024] Driver Killed, Passenger Injured After Two-Car Collision in SunnyvaleA driver was killed, and a passenger sustained injuries after a two-car crash in Sunnyvale on Wednesday morning, October 30, 2024.

Officials said that the accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. near El Camino Real and Cezanne Drive. 

Emergency responders found the driver of one vehicle suffering from major injuries and a passenger in the other vehicle with moderate injuries. 

Both individuals were transported by ambulance to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, where the driver later succumbed to her injuries, as reported by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Authorities do not believe speed or alcohol contributed to the collision. The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
