[10-27-2024] Driver of Stolen Pickup Injures Another Driver in Santa Clarita CrashThe driver of a stolen pickup was involved in a crash with another vehicle before fleeing the scene in Santa Clarita late Sunday night, October 27, 2024. 

The collision occurred around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Wiley Canyon and Tournament roads, according to Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Sgt. Juan Muralles. 

The pickup, which had a water tank in the bed, had been stolen approximately half an hour before the crash.

The driver of the car that was struck was transported by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the incident.

Reports indicate that the truck was stolen from a Ford dealership on Creekside Road. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
