[10-24-2025] DUI Arrest After Rollover Crash Near Olive Hill Road and Del Valle DriveA DUI arrest was made following a rollover crash near Olive Hill Road and Del Valle Drive in San Diego County,  just before midnight on Friday, October 24, 2025.

A gray Dodge pickup was found overturned, blocking the lanes. Initial logs from the California Highway Patrol indicated the driver had fled the scene.

Sheriff’s deputies responding to the area noted that they had just broken up a party nearby, which was estimated to have drawn as many as 1,000 people. Authorities believe the occupants of the truck were leaving the gathering when the crash occurred.

Deputies and residents began searching the area, and one of the vehicle’s passengers was found emerging from a drainage culvert about half a mile away. She told deputies she had been inside the truck during the crash. Paramedics evaluated her at the scene, but she was not injured. CHP later arranged for her to be taken home to Oceanside.

Approximately 20 minutes later, deputies found the driver lying in tall weeds across the road. CHP officers conducted a field sobriety test, and the man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Tow crews later removed the vehicle from the roadway. No major injuries were reported.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not released the names of those involved.
