[10-24-2024] Woman Dies After Hit-And-Run Crash on Pacific Avenue in StocktonA 23-year-old woman died following a hit-and-run incident in Stockton on Thursday evening, October 24, 2024.

According to the Stockton Police Department, the woman was struck near the Delta College marquee sign off Pacific Avenue. 

The vehicle fled the scene after the collision, but officers later located the suspect vehicle nearby. The driver, identified as 27-year-old Jamaraqui B., was taken into custody and transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have closed the southbound lanes on Pacific Avenue between Yokuts Avenue and March Lane, as well as Pacific Frontage Road, for the ongoing investigation.
