[10-24-2024] Motorcyclist Killed After Vehicle Collision on East Laurel Drive in SalinasA motorcyclist identified as 34-year-old Danny G. died after a collision with a vehicle in Salinas on Thursday, October 24, 2024. 

According to Salinas police, the collision was reported around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Laurel Drive and Maryal Drive.

The motorcyclist was reportedly speeding eastbound on East Laurel Drive when the driver of a Honda made a left turn to proceed south on Maryal Drive, causing the crash.

A passenger in the Honda suffered minor injuries, while police indicated that impairment was not a suspected factor in the incident. 

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
