Emergency crews responded to the scene around 7:50 p.m., where three vehicles were involved in the crash just west of the Sacramento River.

According to California Highway Patrol logs, the crash initially blocked all lanes on the freeway, but at least one lane was reported open as of 8:09 p.m.

It remains unclear if any injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
