[10-20-2024] Two Killed After Fiery Vehicle Crash at Avenue K and 62nd Street West in LancasterA man and woman were killed after their vehicle crashed and caught fire in Lancaster early Sunday morning, October 20, 2024.

According to the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station, the crash occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue K and 62nd Street West. 

The male driver was traveling westbound in a Chevrolet Corvette when the car lost control, struck several objects, rolled over, and ignited in flames.

Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear if alcohol, drugs, or speeding were factors in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
