[10-19-2026] Fresno County, CA – Mobility Scooter Rider Killed After Collision With Commercial Vehicle in Kerman

A person riding an electric mobility scooter was killed in a collision with a commercial vehicle in Kerman, Fresno County, on Monday afternoon, October 19, 2026.

According to police, officers responded at around 3:00 p.m. to the intersection of Madera Avenue and Whitesbridge Road.

Investigators said the commercial vehicle struck the scooter rider as the rider was crossing the intersection. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police cleared the scene at around 5:20 p.m., allowing normal vehicle and pedestrian traffic to resume.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
