[10-18-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Killed After Vehicle Crashes Into Tree in Whittier

Two people were killed when a vehicle crashed into a tree in Whittier on Sunday morning, October 18, 2026.

According to Lt. Paul Segura of the Whittier Police Department, officers responded to the crash at around 8:48 a.m. in the 5800 block of Norwalk Boulevard.

Officers found the driver and passenger dead inside the vehicle. Their names were withheld pending notification of their families by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police traffic investigators remained at the scene to investigate the cause of the crash.
