[10-17-2026] Sacramento County, CA – One Killed, Two Injured in Collision Involving Motorcycle and Vehicle in Downtown Sacramento

One person died, and two other people sustained injuries in a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle in downtown Sacramento on Saturday afternoon, October 17, 2026.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, the crash occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. near 10th and H streets.

Three people were transported to a hospital. Despite lifesaving efforts, the motorcycle passenger was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Detectives from the department’s Major Collision Investigations Unit and crime scene investigators were assigned to investigate.
