[10-17-2026] Riverside County, CA – At Least One Killed After Motorcycle and SUV Collision in Valle Vista

At least one person riding a motorcycle was killed in a collision with an SUV in Valle Vista, southeast of Hemet, on Saturday afternoon, October 17, 2026.

According to a California Highway Patrol incident log, the crash was reported at around 4:30 p.m. near Stetson Avenue and Lake Street.

A witness told CHP that one person who had been aboard the motorcycle was found in a field, while another was down in the traffic lanes.

Authorities classified the collision as fatal, but it was not immediately clear which person had died. Information about injuries to anyone else involved was unavailable.

The cause of the collision was not immediately known.
