A pedestrian was killed in a collision on Highway 4 near Brentwood early Thursday morning, October 17, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to reports around 5:50 a.m. that a pedestrian had run in front of a vehicle and was struck on the highway near Walnut Boulevard.
Lanes of Highway 4 between Vasco Road and Walnut Boulevard were closed following the incident as authorities investigated the fatal collision.
