[10-13-2024] Two Dead and Two Injured After Traffic Collision on Cajon BlvdTwo people were killed, and two others were injured after a traffic collision in San Bernardino County on early Sunday morning, October 13, 2024.

As reported by the San Bernardino County Fire Department, emergency crews were called to the scene around 1:22 a.m. on Cajon Blvd., also recognized as Route 66 near Mathews Ranch Road.

The crash involved a silver Toyota GR86 sports car and a black Chevrolet Malibu sedan, each occupied by two individuals. 

The driver of the Chevrolet was declared dead at the scene, while the driver of the Toyota was rushed to a local hospital but unfortunately succumbed to their injuries despite attempts to save them. 

The passengers in both vehicles sustained critical injuries and were transported to area hospitals for further treatment. 

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. Authorities urge anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
