One person was killed, and two others were injured following a suspected DUI crash in Jurupa Valley on Friday night, October 11, 2024.
The collision occurred at around 10:28 p.m. on Van Buren Boulevard south of Jurupa Road, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency responders pronounced the sole occupant of one vehicle dead at the scene. The person’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The driver and passenger of the second vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
Authorities suspect that drug or alcohol use may have contributed to the crash. The cause remains under investigation, and officials have not disclosed which driver may have been impaired.
