Two pedestrians, including a pregnant woman, were hospitalized after being struck by a white Dodge near UC Berkeley on Friday afternoon, October 10, 2025.
According to radio traffic reviewed by The Scanner, the crash occurred around 5:10 p.m. on Channing Way between Telegraph Avenue and Dana Street.
The Dodge sustained major windshield damage, and the driver remained at the scene. Both pedestrians were transported to Highland Hospital “Code 3” with lights and sirens. The male pedestrian was reportedly thrown approximately 20 feet during the collision.
Police closed Channing Way between Telegraph Avenue and Dana Street and called out the Berkeley Police Department Fatal Accident Investigation Team to handle the collision.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
