[10-09-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Jeep Driver Killed in Collision Involving Semi-Truck in Victorville

A man was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck and a Jeep Compass in Victorville early Friday morning, October 9, 2026.

The crash was reported at around 2:50 a.m. on Hesperia Road, north of Nisqualli Road and south of Ottawa Street.

According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Gloria Orejel, the collision involved a Double Eagle semi-truck and a white 2019 Jeep Compass.

The male driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver was not injured.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the fatal crash.
