[10-09-2024] Driver Dies After Rear-Ending Semi-Truck on Highway 74 in MenifeeA pickup truck driver was fatally injured after a collision with a semi-truck near the intersection of Menifee Road and Highway 74 in Menifee on Wednesday night, October 9, 2024.

Menifee Police reported that the crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. when the pickup truck rear-ended the big rig. 

Responding officers noted that the driver of the pickup suffered a medical emergency at the scene. Despite lifesaving efforts and transport to a hospital, the driver succumbed to his injuries.

Police do not suspect alcohol or drugs as factors, though the incident remains under investigation.
